A high school student from Wisconsin has been accused of murdering his parents in connection with a broader scheme to assassinate former President Donald Trump, according to statements from the FBI.
Nikita Casap, a 17-year-old, faces charges in connection with the deaths of his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51. The couple was discovered deceased at their residence on February 28.
A recently unsealed search warrant reveals that the suspect’s phone held materials associated with a neo-Nazi organization known as the Order of Nine Angles, along with expressions of admiration for Adolf Hitler.
According to court documents, investigators uncovered antisemitic writings in which the accused purportedly outlined plans to assassinate Trump as part of a larger objective to destabilize the government.
The individual in question faces serious allegations, including first-degree intentional homicide and seven additional felony charges, which encompass concealing a corpse and identity theft.
Local officials discovered the bodies of the parents during a visit to their residence in the village of Waukesha, located near Milwaukee, following the boy’s two-week absence from school.
According to a criminal complaint regarding the teenager, Mr. Mayer succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head. At the same time, Ms. Casap suffered fatal injuries from multiple gunshot wounds on or around February 11.
On the day the bodies were found, authorities reported that police stopped the defendant in Kansas while operating a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas registered to Mr. Mayer.
According to the criminal complaint, Mr. Mayer’s vehicle contained a Smith & Wesson .357 pistol, four credit cards registered to the couple, numerous pieces of valuable jewelry, a safe that had been pried open, and $14,000 (£10,700) in cash, with the majority concealed within a Bible.

A preliminary court hearing for the suspect took place on April 9. He has yet to submit a plea to the charges against him.
According to the Waukesha County Court, he is scheduled to appear for an arraignment on May 7, during which he will be formally presented with the charges against him. He is currently detained with a bond set at $1 million (£764,000).
